It’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day!
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, “What are you doing for others?”~ Dr. Martin Luther King Jr
Today, Appalachian students, staff, and faculty will give up their day to participate in the 15th MLK Challenge. This is a full day of service to honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
If you didn’t already know about this, participants meet at Legends at 8:00am, are divided into service teams, and randomly select a “challenge” in conjunction with a local community partner or non-profit. Participants are provided 3 free meals, full transportation, and a special gift.
